Jane Robinson, Dean of Engagement and Place at Newcastle University, and Co-Chair of the Nort East Culture Partnership announces today that all 12 North East local authorities have recently confirmed their continued financial support for the North East Culture Partnership (NCEP) for the next three years.

Unique in the UK, the NECP brings together not only our local authorities but the region’s universities, cultural venues and organisations, plus freelance artists and cultural practitioners.

It undertakes research, highlights opportunities, works to increase support for cultural activity in the region, and brings people from across the sector together to network and discuss current issues.
