North East Heritage Forum

The North East Culture Partnership and Historic England will host the North East Heritage Forum at The Customs House in South Shields with an inspiring mix of speakers, provocations, and panel discussions on Thursday 27 April 2023.

Chaired by Lisa Westcott Wilkins, North East Culture Partnership board member, and co-founder and co-CEO of DigVentures, the event brings together the heritage sector in the North East of England to discuss key local and national issues.

Topics covered will include how innovative responses to common problems can be shared and used across the sector, the role of heritage in supporting local communities and the responsibility of heritage organisations to respond to the climate emergency.
