International Working Survey09 September 2017
We are conducting a second international working survey and we need North East arts and heritage organisations to participate.
This survey will provide a vital overview of the arts and heritage sector’s international work in our region, and help the sector’s advocacy with: government, funding organisations, local enterprise partnerships and other local partners.
We will use the findings from this study to further promote the North East’s arts and heritage sector around the world, as well as to identify areas where we as the North East Culture Partnership can support international working and grow the opportunities for international partnerships.
We need responses from at least 100 organisations, so please do share and encourage your colleagues to complete the survey too.
The North East cultural sector has a strong history of international collaboration, and the importance of international links is reflected in all five aspirations of the Case for Culture.
In 2015, the North East Culture Partnership conducted a survey which found that the arts and heritage sector in our region is working with one third of the world!
Using this research, NECP commissioned Candle & Bell to produce a film, showcasing the our international working. This film was launched at the Stockton International Riverside Festival on 3rd August 2017:
Now, the NECP aims to update the 2015 survey, and secure even more responses than last time. We need your help to complete the survey, and to encourage others in the sector to do so.
